September 3 PLC Meeting Minutes

September 3rd PLC meeting minutes

2. Discussion of formative assessment samples
-exit slips

-math observations
-tweet exit slip (something they learned and question they still have)
-quick common core assessments
-KWL charts
a.  The assessments gave us information of which students "got it" and which students did not.
b.  The data impacted our instruction by letting us know whether to reteach, go on with instruction, or intervene for students who were not understanding the content.
c.  Next steps are...
-continue to give formative assessments to drive instruction
3 Leader in me...Read questions, then read pages 1-11  and complete 8 questions (Jessica will send questions in a google doc) and we will discuss questions next week during PLC meeting
